In a Twitter comment, Caleb explained a bit more about the role, saying: “It’s just funny because I was literally hired to do one specific task behind the scenes, then consult on the process associated with it, for a lump sum, split over a few weeks. . Nothing like a job. So stupid.”

And it looks like the dismissal was thrown out, as Caleb shared some follow-up texts he received, claiming to be from the company, which is based in the northeast, apparently regarding the same issue.
It reads that the person in question “does not have the authority to fire you,” continuing: “That said, as we see, you continue to act unabated and we need you to return to work as scheduled.”

But Caleb responded, saying he had spoken to several other people who confirmed his contract had been “terminated.” He signed off with: “I’m not interested in discussing this further. Do not message me again.”
